Dr.Ibrahim Muhammad Ibrahim

Executive Director 


Dr. Ibrahim holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1989) and a Master’s degree in Applied Population Research from the University of Exeter United Kingdom. (2000). He is a Member of West African College of Physicians (MWACP) in Community Health and has also attended many courses and workshops in sexual and reproductive health within and outside Nigeria.  Dr. Ibrahim has over 15 years working experience in public health and reproductive health both in the public and private sector. He worked with Jigawa State Ministry of Health as the Medical Officer where he rose to the rank of the Assistant Director.  He joined PPFN as an Assistant Director Service Delivery and Information, Education and Communication (1997-2000) and later rose to become the Director of Operation in 2000. He was the Executive Director/CEO of PPFN from 2001 before assuming the position of Director General in 2005.  


Dr. Okai Haruna Aku

Director, Advocacy, Business Development & External Relations (ABDER)


Dr. Okai holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) Degree from the University of Jos and MPH from Ahmadu Bello Univerisity, Zaria, Kaduna State.  He has been in charge of the Advocacy Portfolio since employment in PPFN in 2007.  He is currently implementing the PPFN Cervical Cancer Project in addition to his core role in advocacy.  

Mr. Nnamdi Agha

Director, Finance & Operations


Mr. Agha holds HND in Accountancy (1990) and is a Chartered Accountant, having obtained his professional membership (ACA) from ICAN in 2000.  He attended Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Enugu, 1985-1990 for his OND/HND study programme.   Mr. Agha’s career history started from 1991 with his work with a firm of Chartered Accountants (Okpala, Ezeamii & Co) from 1991 to 2002.  He worked with Albarka Air Plc ., Abuja, from July 2002 to 2007 when he moved over to Jinifa Cash ‘N Carry Limited, Abuja, and then Banex Industries Limited, Abuja, from 2008 to 2009.  Mr. Agha joined the services of PPFN in September 2009 as Executive Director, Finance and Support Services.


Mrs. Nafisatu Adamu

Director, Programmes 



Mrs. Adamu is a graduate of the Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital Commercial Health Training (1992), School of Nursing and Midwifery, Sokoto (1984).  She holds the National Community Health Officers Diploma, National Certificate of Nursing and the National Certificate of Midwifery.  She has over 30 years working experience in health which started with her career as a Staff Nurse with the Sokoto General Hospital and rose through the ranks to become the Principal Nursing Sister.  She joined PPFN in 1995 as the Branch Manager and later became the Project Manager/Coordinator and currently the Global Fund Manager since 2008 when the Global Fund (Malaria) Project Round 4 started.  She has attended many training and learning events including Strategic Health Communication, Communication and Counselling (2002), Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop (1999), Strategic Planning and Appreciation Workshop (1998), Paralegal Training (1996), Family Planning on Injectable Contraceptives (1996), Management and Control of VVF Patients (1995).  Mrs. Adamu is currently the Global Fund (Malaria) Project with PPFN.

Mr. Monday Azubuike Kanu

Manager, Human Resource and Administration


Mr. Kanu is an Associate, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (ACIPMN).  He holds Executive Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Office Management and Business Management respectively from the University of Lagos (1998/1999).  He joined PPFN in 1980 and has risen through the ranks, having held different positions including Administration Officer, Administration Manager and currently Manager, Human Resource and Administration.  He has attended various training and learning events such as Human Resource Management (2005), The Changing Face of Human Resource Management (2008), Governance and Leadership, Accra, Ghana (2008), Building a Pipeline of Managers Who Lead (2009), Performance Appraisal and Target Setting, CMD, Lagos (2009), Good Governance of Civil Society Organizations (2010),Strengthening Leadership and Management Practices among Senior and Middle Level Management in PPFN (2013).  Mr. Kanu is also PPFN’s Desk Officer for Institutional Capacity Building and Infrastructural Development.

Mr. Ibrahim Balogun

Internal Auditor


Mr. Ibrahim Balogun is a graduate of Executive Management Accountancy of the University of Lagos (1995) and the Federal Treasury Training School, 1991. He is an Associate Member (ACA) and a Member Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Mr. Balogun had worked as an accountant and auditor in the public and private sector. He joined PPFN as Assistant Internal Auditor in 1997 and later appointed as the Internal Auditor in 2001.
