Mr. John S. Chawa
Ag. Regional Coordinator || North-Central Region
Mr. Chawa is a pathfinding & result-oriented project manager with records of producing
accurate and timely results. He possesses about 10 years of uniformly skilled
work experience in corporate administration, team mobilization, strategy
development, process research & planning, project management &
execution, monitoring & evaluation, process improvement, and effective cost
control. He has a Master of Business Administration from the National Open
University (2017), a B. Tech in Agricultural Economics and Extension Technology
from FUT Minna (2010), he is a Certified Member; Institute of Strategic Management
of Nigeria (2011) and has undergone many specialized pieces of training and
certifications. Amongst many are project Management Training by Longhall
Consulting. Abuja, 2016, PACFAR Advocacy skill and Strategies Training by Civil
Society-Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CSSUNN) 2015, Professional
Certificate in Human Resources Management by The Carrington Heritage. Centre
for Professional Development. United Kingdom 2015, Developing New Products
by LBS, PAN-Atlantic University. Lagos State, Nigeria 2011. He
came into PPFN in 2015 as the Programme Officer (Advocacy) and later became the
Monitoring and Evaluation and Information Technology Officer. He is presently
the Acting Regional Coordinator of North Central Region
Mrs. MaryJacinta Chinenye Ezeh
Regional Coordinator || South East Region
Mrs. Ezeh holds a Master’s Degree in
Business Administration specialty in Marketing from Bayero University Kano
(2006). She holds OND and HND in Business Studies and Marketing respectively
from Federal Polytechnic, Oko Anambra state (1997 & 2000). Mrs. Ezeh is a
member, Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) since 2010. She joined PPFN
in 2007 as Regional Programme Officer (Advocacy) and later became Monitoring
and Evaluation Officer for the region. She was deployed to Umuahia, Abia State
for technical assistance and mentorship provision to the state team for one
month in November 2015 under the Global Fund Project for HIV/AIDS. Later in
February 2016, she was sent back to Umuahia, Abia State as Monitoring and
Evaluation Officer under the Global Fund Project for HIV/AIDS for six
months.
Ms Elizabeth Joe
Regional Coordinators || North West Region
Miss Joe is a graduate of Agriculture from the Federal University of Technology, Yola. She was involved in development work during her brief stay with Women Environmental Programme in Kaduna (2002) as Programme Officer. She later joined the AID Foundation also in Kaduna as a Programme Officer in 2002 and thereafter worked as a Producer with the Newage Communication Network, Kaduna, from where she moved to Fhauzy Communications Limited, Abuja as Senior Producer in 2008. Miss Joe joined PPFN in 2009 as Regional Programme Officer (Advocacy) and later became the Regional Director.
Mrs. Blessing Idehen
Regional Coordinator || South South Region
Mrs. Blessing Idehen joined the services of Planned Parenthood
Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) as Program Officer in May 2001, and currently the
Acting Regional Coordinator in South-South Region of Nigeria, comprising of
six states of the federation. As a program staff, she successfully managed the
implementation of projects funded by international and local organizations such
UNFPA, USAID, Global Fund, IPPF, and World Bank HIV/AIDS Fund (HAF) Project in
Partnership with State Action Committee for AIDS, (SACA) in Edo State.
Mr. Yusuf Wabi
Regional Coordinator || North East Region
Mr. Wabi holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies,
BSc Sociology and he is a Registered Nurse. Until his appointment as PPFN
Regional Director, he was the Deputy Director of HIV control/ Community
Mobilization Officer Bauchi State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, TB
Leprosy and Malaria. He has a vast experience in the area of HIV/ AIDS Program.
His strength is in the area of HIV Prevention, Adolescent Reproductive Health,
Family Planning and Community Interventions. He has 25 years of working
experience, 15 years in the Public sector and 10 years in Development work. Mr.
Wabi worked with Society for Family Health (SFH) as a Regional Communication
Officer targeting MARPS covering Borno, Yobe and Adamawa State between 2004 to
2007. He has served as LGA Development Coordinator / Team leader Bauchi, under
the Targeted States High Impact Project (TSHIP), a USAID Funded Project between
2010 to 2013. He has also attended so many training, seminars, conferences and workshops within the country.
Mrs. Elizabeth Abimbola
Regional Coordinator || South West Region
Mrs. Abimbola holds B.Sc Degree in Nursing Administration from the National Open University (2010). She is a Registered Nurse and Midwife. Mrs. Abimbola has held many key positions of responsibility and has over 15 years of experience. Among the positions she held include Regional Director of the PPFN in South West Region from 2013 todate, Programme Officer (Service Delivery) PPFN South West Region, Principal Nursing Officer, Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, Senior Nursing Officer at the Baptist Medical Centre, Ogbomoso and Staff Nurse/Midwife at Graces Medical Centre, Lagos. Mrs. Abimbola has attended several training and learning events.
